Handling Augmentative Communication training course

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is the field of endeavor addressing the communication and related needs of people who experience significant communication impairments. One’s Quality of Life is dramatically and drastically altered when their ability to use natural speech is compromised, especially those with complex communication needs. The goal of AAC is to help people find the most effective communication possible. This course discusses AAC, who needs it, what tools are used, and how people are assessed during the process.
