Bullying involves repeated and unwanted actions by an individual or group intended to intimidate, harass, degrade, or offend one or more persons. Bullying negatively impacts the emotional health and well-being of employees and affects the performance of the entire organization. Bullying has become a serious and growing problem affecting a significant proportion of healthcare professionals compared to other industries. Bullying can take many forms and be initiated by co-workers, supervisors, or clients in home health care. This course discusses how bullying manifests in a healthcare setting as well as strategies to help recognize and prevent bullying behavior.
