Behavioral Health Options for Older Adults training course

Mental Illness is often lifelong and chronic, but it can also be diagnosed at any age. How different diagnoses present and are treated are different for older adults than for other age groups, and it is important for any healthcare professional working with this population to know what to observe and report in order to provide the highest level of care for patients and residents. This course discusses common mental health diagnoses seen in older adults, how they present differently, and effective treatment options. In addition, case examples and ongoing support options will be included.
