AS07 Family Relationships and Social Bonds training course

While definitions of family vary based on culture, historical period, and social structure, it remains an important social construct as we age. Family can help define our experiences in old age, with relatives and friends providing caregiving and support as we get older. This course will discuss the history of families, how they have been understood in different historical periods, love and intimacy in aging couples, and the diverse methods of caregiving as we age.
